How was the Catholic Men's Ministry logo developed?
The logo (top left) was selected as a memorial to the Great Pope John Paul II. Pope John Paul carried a staff (also called a crosier) at all liturgical and official celebrations. The Holy father chose to place a primitive-looking crucifix at the top of the crosier. This cross was designed authentically as two pieces of logs tied together by rope, depicts Christ with His knees bent, at the point of death, giving up His life out of love for sinful humanity. This is the great gift of our salvation! We have been saved by Christ’s sacrifice on Calvary, so that we may share with Him in life more abundant for all eternity. Prayer from the Great Pope John Paul – “We pray for God’s blessing on all who seek to follow the Passion of Jesus Christ, our savior”. Amen!
