Before each men’s luncheon, we have the opportunity to participate in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at St. Patrick Church. St. Patrick is a Dominican Parish in the heart of our Columbus Diocese. Dominicans are known for their calling to preach the Word of God and their vocation is lived out in a variety of states of life including: friars, cloistered nuns, apostolic sisters and groups of lay people. Here is your chance to learn more about the Order of Preachers and the relationship of a Dominican Parish within a diocese.

Please join us this Friday, June 5th for the Catholic Men’s Luncheon Club Meeting. Our speaker will be Fr. Peter Fagan who will be discussing the History and Nature of the Dominican Order. Fr. Peter was raised in the Washington D.C. area and made his solemn profession on January 30, 1999 and was ordained to the priesthood on May 24, 2001. Following assignments to Catherine of Siena Parish in New York, Providence College and the Dominican House of Studies, he was assigned to St. Patrick in June, 2007. Fr. Peter’s knowledge of the Dominican Order and witty sense of humor will make for an informative, enjoyable presentation.

Please promote the Catholic Men's Luncheon Club by forwarding this e-mail and to men who you know would enjoy attending. For more information contact Shane Switzer, CMLC President, at srswitzer@gmail.com or visit www.columbuscatholicmen.com.
